Stuffed Cabbage

Nonna Snowden made her Aunt Annette’s delicious stuffed cabbage recipe. The recipe originated in Hungary and has a new and tasty spice mixed in with some of Nonna’s tried and true favorites! Nonna turned this dish into a blend mixing a pinch of Aunt Annette’s Hungarian cooking, a smidge of Nonna’s Italian cooking, and ” ’bout dat much” good ol’ fashion cajun zing! Not only will the kids loves this dish, but it is easily turned into a low carb dinner!

Instant Pot – Pork Chops

Following a long day at work, Nonna quickly threw together a nice pork chop and salad dinner. Watch Nonna continue to learn the instant pot’s ins and outs, this time using the “sauté” function to quickly brown the pork chops before cooking. Nonna complimented her favorite spices and seasonings with a dijon mustard coating on the pork chops and a little dijon mustard her “quick fix” vinaigrette dressing.

Instant Pot – Pot Roast

A viewer requested that Nonna prepare some meals using an instant pot. Nonna Snowden was more than happy to oblige! In her first attempt with the Instant Pot, Nonna cooked a chuck roast (pot roast) using Dan Pastorini’s Texas Style Rub and gravy using Dan’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning. She also cooked broccoli and rice in the instant pot, with some lessons learned. Watch the video to learn what Nonna learned.

Eggplant Parmesan

Nonna Snowden cooked a fabulous eggplant parmesan. This recipe started with a meatball and Italian sausage tomato sauce passed down through 4 generations. Nonna Snowden outdid herself this time! This three cheese (mozzarella, romano, and ricotta) alfredo chicken dish is simply outstanding. This meal is also easily made into a vegetarian dinner by substituting the chicken with your favorite vegetables such as tomato slices, eggplant, mushrooms, broccoli, squash, and zucchini.
