Nonna Snowden made her Aunt Annette’s delicious stuffed cabbage recipe. The recipe originated in Hungary and has a new and tasty spice mixed in with some of Nonna’s tried and true favorites! Nonna turned this dish into a blend mixing a pinch of Aunt Annette’s Hungarian cooking, a smidge of Nonna’s Italian cooking, and ” ’bout dat much” good ol’ fashion cajun zing! COW’S HEAD BARBACOA

Nonna Snowden and guest cook, Maw Maw Gwen, put together this “How to” video which features cow head barbacoa. Instant Pot – Pork Chops

Following a long day at work, Nonna quickly threw together a nice pork chop and salad dinner. Watch Nonna continue to learn the instant pot’s ins and outs, this time using the “sauté” function to quickly brown the pork chops before cooking. Nonna complimented her favorite spices and seasonings with a dijon mustard coating on the pork chops and a little dijon mustard her “quick fix” vinaigrette dressing.

Due to technical difficulties, the Jambalaya video is postponed until further notice. We (Nonna and Aunt Winkie) apologize for the inconvenience. Not wanting to disappoint and leave our viewers completely without, Nonna cooked up an after work quick, easy, and tasty meal. She cooked pork chops in the instant pot and added a nutritious green salad with her “quick fix vinaigrette.” Using her favorite spices and some dijon mustard, these pork chops bring a new flavor and some variety to Nonna Snowden Cooks’ repertoire .

Instant Pot – Pot Roast

A viewer requested that Nonna prepare some meals using an instant pot. Nonna Snowden was more than happy to oblige! In her first attempt with the Instant Pot, Nonna cooked a chuck roast (pot roast) using Dan Pastorini’s Texas Style Rub and gravy using Dan’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning. She also cooked broccoli and rice in the instant pot, with some lessons learned. Watch the video to learn what Nonna learned.

She used all her favorite herbs and spices (Dan Pastorini and Uncle Paulie’s) as well as adding Dan Pastorini’s Texas Style Rub to give the roast a little more flavor.
